We agree with Ken that the camp host has a lot to be desired. We didn't see any children and they were trying to keep their dogs in the camper, but they had visitors that would come at all times of day and night. Their visitors would stay 10 minutes or less and leave. It lead us to wonder what our camp host might be doing/selling on the side of being camp host. Other than that, our stay was enjoyable. We like the seclusion the campground offers and the fact that the site are not packed in so tightly that you feel you are sharing space with the campers next to you.
Nice campground, but if you are looking for something quiet, this might not be it. Campers are too close together IMO.
I have been camping here since the late 90s and still make a trip at least once a year, even though I moved away. The camp host, Lester and his wife are great and they greet us by name. The facilities are usually clean and tidy with rare exceptions. It is located close to numerous waterfalls, hiking, and fishing. Great location for a reasonable price.
One of the best campgrounds I've stayed in! The campsites are very well placed and provide plenty of privacy from other campers. The waterfalls in the area provide great hiking experiences and are super close! Excellent all around!
Nice roomy bathhouses. This year (2017) the nightly rate is $10. Next year (2018) it will increase to $15.
